Thank you for your understanding!
Even though the library is closed staff are continuing to order new books, audiobooks, movies, tv series and more. You are able to place holds on Sterling items for curbside pickup, which begins on June 1st, using your online account. If you have any questions, please call (978) 422-6409 and leave a message with your name and phone number and a staff member will return your call.
The library's book drop is now open for returns. All returned library materials will be quarantined for 72 hours before being checked in. Please note, the book drop is for library materials only and we ask that donations not be put in the book drop. If the book drop is full, please come back at another time and do not leave library materials outside of the book drop.
Curbside pickup begins on Monday, June 1st! Place holds for Sterling items online or by calling 978-422-6409. We cannot obtain materials from other libraries at this time. Staff members will pull your requested items and contact you via phone when your pick-up is ready. Curbside pick-up is available Monday - Thursday from 10 AM to 6 PM. Materials will be placed on tables in front of the library in paper bags (in alphabetical order by last name) and the sidewalk will be taped off to allow for 6ft distance between patrons picking up materials. Materials can also be delivered to patrons who live in Sterling.

Sterling Trail Information
If you're looking for an activity to get out and get some fresh air, the Sterling trails are open during this time. Town officials ask that you please practice social distancing and if a trail is too crowded that you do not use the trail until it clears sufficiently.
The Animal Control Officer also reminds us that social distancing applies to trails that allow dog walking, so no matter how cute, please don't stop to pet dogs.
