Children of all ages are invited to search for a selection of picture book characters from our 100 Books of Summer. Those that locate all 10 will earn a water bottle sticker.

Masterpiece Monday: Ceramic Painting
Monday, July 22nd from 2 pm - 4 pm
Kids are invited to paint ceramic figurines outside on the side lawn, weather permitting. In the case of inclement weather, this program will be moved to Tuesday, July 23rd between 2 pm and 4 pm. Available while supplies last. All ages.

Masterpiece Monday: Play Dough Playdate
Monday, July 29th from 11 am - 3 pm
Swing by the library to explore and create masterpieces made out of play dough. Available while supplies last. All ages.

Kids DIY Ice Cream
Wednesday, July 31st at 4:30 pm
Celebrate the hot summer weather by making simple refreshing ice cream! Kids ages 7 and up are invited to make (and eat!) their own individual servings of vanilla ice cream.

Bubble Mania

Kids of all ages are invited to create, catch, play, and dance with bubbles. Bubble Mania will take place outside on the side lawn, weather permitting.

Paint & Popsicles
Tuesday, August 6th from 10 am - 12 pm
Dress for mess and join us on the side lawn as we paint with non-traditional items including paint filled water balloons! Beat the heat with a popsicle while your painting dries. Rain date Thursday, August 8th from 10 am to 12 pm. Please call the library if the weather is questionable.

Wicked Good Henna
Wednesday, August 7th from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Youths ages 6 to 18 are invited to have their hands adorned with beautiful patterns by Henna Artist Mandy Roberge. Celebrate the end of our summer reading programming with a real artist. It’s a great time to come in and report your reading hours, too - get those tickets entered into the raffles, which must be in by the following day. Starting at 5:25 kids may line up to be given a number, and Mandy will see them in that order as time allows.

STEAM Paper Plate Roller Coasters
Thursday, August 8th from 2 pm - 4 pm
Kids of all ages are invited to drop and build their own roller coasters using Keva blocks, paper plates, paper towel rolls, and more. Once their creation is complete they can test, modify, and retest their designs using marbles.

Masterpiece Monday: Bean Art
Monday, August 12th from 10 am - 4 pm
Kids of all ages are invited to express their creativity by designing pictures or mosaics using beans. Available while supplies last.

DIY Musical Instruments for Kids
Tuesday, August 13th at 2 pm
Kids ages 7 and up are invited to make bottle cap shakers and rubber band guitars out of recycled materials in honor of this year’s summer reading theme, “Read, Renew, Repeat”.
